Excel Youth

As of Monday, March 16, 2020 we will only be streaming Sunday services live. All weekly services and on-site gatherings will be cancelled until further notice. There will be NO Sunday services or any meetings/activities during the weekdays or on Saturdays. Additionally, any Excel service, Compass Group, or event is cancelled until further notice.

The CDC has issued new recommendations urging that group gatherings do not exceed 50 in attendance. As a ministry, it is our responsibility to implement plans and procedures that take into consideration all of our attendees, our volunteer workers, our staff, and those among us who may fall into what the CDC describes as “at risk” (persons who are especially susceptible to serious outcomes should they become infected with this dangerous virus).
During this shutdown period, we will be going through our facilities and making sure areas have been properly cleaned and sanitized so we are ready when it is time to reopen. What can you do during this shutdown of meetings and services?

1. Pray. Continue to believe God that this pandemic will be over soon and things will return to normalcy. Pray for our missionaries in the far flung areas of the world who are also in the midst of this. Pray that the unsaved will be open to the Gospel during these uncertain times. Pray for your church family that needs are met and health is their experience.
2. Watch online. We will be posting live or recorded worship and messages to our website, Facebook, and YouTube weekly to keep us connected and stay on our course of “finding direction together.”
3. Give. Continue to honor God with your tithes and offerings. Whether we are in church or away, our duty to be faithful does not cease. We encourage you to visit the online giving portal accessible on our website or at www.easytithe.com/belmontag.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during these difficult and trying times. You are loved. We will maintain office hours during the week. Phones and email inboxes will be monitored for communications directed our way if urgent needs arise. While we encourage you to tune in to our live-streams together, please understand that if you are sick or are high-risk, please distance yourselves from others and join us online streaming via Facebook & YouTube at @BelmontAssembly, or at www.belmontag.org/watch We are praying that in this time, when the world is full of fear and uncertainty, that we may be confident in the God who is in control of everything!
May God bless you,

Pastors and staff of Belmont Assembly of God
